Chinese Cabbage Soup (with Dumplings)
Traditionally, in Chinese cooking, water is usually used in lieu of chicken broth when making soup. For a more full bodied soup, replace water with chicken stock and omit the chicken powder. If chicken powder is not available, use chicken boullion cubes.Chinese Cabbage Soup (with Dumplings),
- 6 cups water
- 2 teaspoon chicken powder
- dash of white pepper
- dash of sesame oil
- 1 head of cabbage or a bundle of bok choy
Preparation1. In a pot, add 6 cups of water, 2 teaspoon of chicken powder, dash of white pepper and sesame oil. When it boils, add vegetable of choice.
