  • 3 tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1 onion, halved
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can minced crab in spices (gia vị cua nấu bùn riêu)
  • 300g (0.66 pound) pork, minced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind pulp
  • 1 tablespoon shrimp paste
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • rice noodles


1.  In a big bowl, beat eggs and mix well with minced crab in spices. Add in minced pork and mix well. Add 1 teaspoon salt.

2.  In a pot fry minced garlic and onion until fragrant. Stir-fry tomato with 1 tablespoon fish sauce. Cover the lid and cook for 3 minutes. Then add 1 1/2 liter boiling water. Add onion, 1 teaspoon salt, tamarind, fine shrimp paste. Scoop the crab meat mixture into the soup pot. The meat is cooked when they float to the surface

Boil Noodles:
