Poke Scallop Salad

I made this dish by combining a popular Hawaiian ingredient, Poke, with tender scallops. I hope you enjoy my creation.Poke Scallop Salad,
- 5-8 scallops
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons ponzu sauce
- 1/3 English cucumber
- 2 tablespoons white onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup seaweed salad
Preparation1. Season scallops with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon of the sesame oil in a pan on high heat. Add scallops and sear on both sides, 1-2 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness. Add 1 tablespoon ponzu sauce and simmer for 30 seconds. Remove scallops from pan.
3. In mixing bowl, combine sliced English cucumber, sliced white onions, 2 tablespoons ponzu sauce, 1 table spoon sesame oil, and seaweed. Add scallops and toss lightly.
