Onigiri are Japanese rice balls, with optional filling. They’re a really fun treat for children or as an on-the-go snack. I like to make it when I have the ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups sushi rice
  • 5 oz. canned tuna ( optional )
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dressing
  • 1 teaspoon salt + cup of water ( To dip hands in. )
  • Nori

Preparation

1.  Mix tuna with ranch dressing.  Form rice balls with hand and fill with tuna.  Wrap with nori strips.
