Laotian Grilled Chicken (Kai Yang, Ping Gai)

This is a very simple Thai/Lao style grilled chicken. Just marinate, and bake or grill, to achieve this sweet and savory chicken.Laotian Grilled Chicken (Kai Yang, Ping Gai),
- 1 half a chicken
- 2 tablespoons lemon grass, minced
- 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Preparation1. Mix together ingredients and rub over chicken. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
2. Roast in oven at 400°F for an hour skin side up. You can also grill the chicken instead.
