You might need a glass of cold beer to cool down the spices and flavors of this famous Pad Kee Mao dish! Another popular dish among my customers and every time they come back, they want it spicier than before.  Not a fan of spicy dishes? Lower the amount of chili pepper and still enjoy the flavors of the dish.

  • 2 cups wide rice noodles
  • 1 cup thinly sliced beef
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 1/4 of a bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced
  • 1/4 cup green beans
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon crushed chili pepper
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves
  • 1 cup bean sprouts


1. Parboil / blanch noodles, beef and vegetables. In a separate bowl, mix oyster sauce, fish sauce and sugar.

2. Add oil to pan on high heat.  Add garlic and chili.

3.  Stir in noodles, beef and vegetables.

4. Add in sauce (oyster, fish and sugar sauce).  Add white vinegar, white pepper, white wine and black soy sauce.

5.  Finish by stirring in bean sprout and basil leaves.
