Indonesian Peanut Sauce (Bumbu Kacang, Sambal Kacang, Pecel)
I love this peanut sauce. Every time I make it, I feel like I am cooking with my mom. You might find yourself putting this sauce on almost everything you eat!Indonesian Peanut Sauce (Bumbu Kacang, Sambal Kacang, Pecel),
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon sambal sauce
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
Preparation1. In a pot over medium heat, mix peanut butter, sambal sauce, brown sugar, and sweet soy sauce.
2. Stir in coconut milk. Squeeze in lemon juice. Add ginger powder.
3. Stir until sauce is creamy and adjust ingredients to taste.
