Tapioca pearls and banana drenched in coconut milk and sugar. This dessert is super simple and extremely decadent and delicious. Great for gatherings and parties!

  • 400ml (13.5oz) coconut milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons small tapioca pearls
  • pinch of salt
  • 300g banana (about 3 small bananas), sliced
  • roasted peanuts, crushed
  • roasted sesame seeds


1.  In a saucepan, stir in coconut milk, sugar, tapioca, and salt, and bring to a boil.

2.  Turn off heat, cover the saucepan and set aside for 20 minutes to soften the tapioca pearls.

3.  Add bananas to the saucepan and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve hot or chilled, sprinkled with peanuts and sesame seeds.
